1. TERMS OF USE (MeshMeet)

1. Welcome to MeshMeet
MeshMeet ("we", "us", "our") provides a mobile application designed to help groups of friends or colleagues quickly agree on meeting times through structured voting ("Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using MeshMeet, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility and App Store Restrictions
The MeshMeet application is not distributed in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) via official app stores. If you are accessing the app from within the EU/EEA, you are doing so against our distribution policy and assume all associated risks regarding data protection compliance.
By using MeshMeet, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you affirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
3. Consent to Terms — IMPORTANT
By creating an event, submitting a vote, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
Your act of clicking "Create Poll" or "Submit My Slots" constitutes your electronic signature and binding acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. We do not separately store a record of your consent; your use of the Service is your ongoing confirmation of agreement.
4. Anonymous Accounts & No Liability for Loss
We use "anonymous authentication" via Supabase. Upon first launch, your device is assigned a unique anonymous ID.
No Recovery: You cannot reset a password or recover your data (events, votes) if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
No Identification: We do not collect your email, phone number, or real name. You are identified solely by this anonymous ID and the nickname you choose for each event.
5. User Content (Nicknames, Titles, Descriptions)
You may be asked to provide a name or nickname when creating or voting on an event. You may use a real name or a pseudonym. We do not verify the accuracy of this information.
You are solely responsible for the legality, reliability, integrity, and appropriateness of all content you post (event titles, descriptions, nicknames).
We do not moderate content but reserve the right to remove any content reported to us that violates these Terms (e.g., harassment, illegal activities).
6. Invite Links and Visibility
When you create an event, you receive a unique invite link. Anyone with this link can view the event title, description, and the nicknames of users who have voted.
You are responsible for sharing this link only with your intended participants.
A user is considered a participant only after submitting their nickname and availability.
7. In-App Purchases (Premium Features)
MeshMeet offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the "MeshMeet Pro" feature.
Free Tier: You may create events with a maximum of 3 participants (including the creator).
Premium Tier (One-Time Purchase): After purchasing the "MeshMeet Pro" feature for the listed price (e.g., $5.99 USD or equivalent in your local store), you may create events with up to 30 participants (including the creator).
Payment Processing: All payments are processed by the platform you downloaded the app from (Apple App Store). We do not have access to your credit card or banking information. We use a third-party service, Qonversion, to verify purchase status and manage entitlements, but Qonversion does not process your payment.
Pricing: The price displayed in the app is the final price. Taxes may be applied by the App Store based on your location.
No Refunds: As the purchase is digital and immediately usable, all sales are final. Refunds are subject solely to the App Store's refund policies (managed by Apple). Please contact Apple directly for any refund requests.
8. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for backend infrastructure and Qonversion for in-app purchase analytics and validation. Your data is processed according to their respective privacy policies and is stored primarily in the United States.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Event Creators: You may delete an event you created at any time. This permanently removes the event and all associated votes from our servers.
Participants: As a participant, you cannot delete only your vote from an event (to maintain data integrity for the organizer). If you wish to have your personal data (your nickname) removed, you must contact the event organizer, or you may request deletion via our support email (see Section 14).
Account Deletion: Since you do not have a traditional account, to delete all data associated with your anonymous ID, you must contact us via email. We will manually purge your records from Supabase.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MESHMEET BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA (EVENTS) OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR INVITE LINKS.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after the changes constitutes your acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
